iamReverb 1.1.0 Was Released

What’s New?

Far Panorama Mode

To ensure a balanced spatial impression even when the input signal is panned hard left or right, the new “Far Panorama Mode” toggle allows inverting the stereo field of the far reverb signal. It’s especially useful for mono or one-sided input signals, ensuring that the reverb spreads more evenly across the stereo field.

This new feature enables a range of creative mixing techniques. For instance, you can pan the far reverb toward the opposite side of the dry signal, effectively increasing the spatial separation between the source and the reverb. This can enhance the listener’s perception of depth and widen the stereo field while still preserving the natural acoustic characteristics of the room. It helps to reduce potential masking, keeping the dry signal clear and intelligible within the mix.

Further Improvements

  • Added mono-to-stereo support
  • Decreased plugin file size
